The English Terrace started with a small French company in England named La Bonne Image. After several years of success in Europe the product was sold in the United States. Starting in California and through the United States, this unique product line was well received.

The owner of The English Terrace, Neville, decided to pursue other opportunities. My husband, Barrett and I purchased the inventory and decided to keep name “The English Terrace” because of its charm and its apt description of the English and European influence on the product design. We have expanded the product line to offer a variety of items.

The English Terrace product fills a niche in the decorative and garden market place.   I am not aware of any other line that concentrates on handsome and well made lanterns in the number of styles and price range that is the hallmark of The English Terrace.

In addition to the lanterns, we have also developed a line of limited edition Giclee photographic art. These images have the look of oil paintings and are “stretch canvas” framed.  They can be hung “as is” or framed more elaborately by the customer. Each piece is signed and numbered. These images and resulting photographic art are exclusive to The English Terrace.

I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising.  After working in retail for a while, eventually opportunities led me to the wholesale gift industry in the Dallas Market Center.

I have worked in showrooms in the Dallas Market Center Since 1974. I have sold furniture, fine jewelry, crystal and decorative accessories.  Since 2000, I have been an independent sales representative selling decorative accessories on the road in North Texas. 

Our plans are to continue to offer a variety of quality lanterns at good prices.  We do, though, plan to expand the line with different items that compliment the existing product line. We want The English Terrace to grow organically all the while providing high quality and good pricing.

Having a background as a sales representative, I am sensitive to what I regard as good relations with sales representatives as well as customers. I promise to strive to be responsive to the sales force needs and to the requests of our customers.  Good customer service is a key ingredient to the continued success of our company.
